A quick question to my practitioners' network out there: " What do you wish universities would do to make Intelligence and Security Studies graduates career-ready?"

I'm finalising my paper on the topic for the International Association for Intelligence Education Annual conference in Aranjuez. The results of the students' survey are promising, with comments such as "I wish my university could do more."
The results show that most universities still primarily focus on academic achievement rather than developing a holistic professional identity. Other disciplines, such as education, medicine, law, engineering, etc. have successfully implemented Professional Identity Formation-focused curricula. This approach encompasses the requisite skills and knowledge, as well as the soft and social skills necessary for a successful entry into a security or intelligence profession.
What are your thoughts on this? What do you wish your new recruits can do, be like, or know about? I received quite a few comments on my LinkedIn page here
